Welcome to the wonders of working with honey bees
In the summer of 2007 a friend was looking for a home for a couple of honey bee colonies and we decided to help out. The rest has been an adventure into the world of our beloved apis mellifera.
Today we are managing 12-15 full sized colonies, 5 frame nucleus colonies and sustainably harvesting natural raw honey, propolis, pollen and wax. We take great pleasure in rescuing any swarms and unwanted honey bee colonies you may have on your property in south/central Maine. We also enjoy mentoring new beekeepers and sell many natural products of the hive.
Mother Nature has helped our honey bees thrive in 2012 with excellent weather for forage and growth. They have provided us with a wealth of surplus light spring honey and dark summer honey.
